anne of green gables

Anne is one of our favourite literary heroines so are delighted and honoured to see we have been included in a treasury inspired by her.  We share a love of puffed sleeves with Anne and definitely cite her as one of our inspirations.  Please click here to see the treasury in its original form if you would like to comment.

And I'd like to finish with one of my favourite Anne quotes:

"Marilla, isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?"

Spring Yellows

The br
ight Spring weather in the UK (following a grey windy rainy spell) has inspired me to create a 'buttercup yellow' treasury on etsy.  Yellow is a lovely fresh colour and seems the perfect colour to represent Spring.  My garden is full of little brightly coloured yellow Narcissus, primroses & crocus and the shops are full of daffodils at the moment.

Follow the link if you'd like to comment on the items I selected:

Treasury generates sale!

Yesterday we woke up to a wonderful sale and it was one of my favourite items - our little baby dress made from a gorgeous liberty print fabric:

We are thrilled to see it has found a new home.

Today I discovered the sale came as a result of being featured in treasury put together by Nauli who sells beautiful Paper Goods & dolls.  This Art Deco pattern is my current favourite but do check her store as she has lots of other appealing designs.
